Pequannock Township, New Jersey is a small municipality located in northeastern portion of Morris County. It occupies 7.9 square miles with a 2010 population of 16,000. The Mission of the Pequannock Township Health Department: To protect and promote the health of all of the people of our service area. To protect individuals and communities against the spread of disease, injuries and environmental hazards while promoting and encouraging healthier lifestyles.

Service areas:
Currently, the Health Department provides public health services to five municipalities, Bloomingdale, Florham Park, Kinnelon, Pequannock, and Riverdale with a combined population of 48,699.
