Free Clinic Newton

Free Clinic Newton is a non-profit providing healthcare to the uninsured.The clinic is staffed by physicians and nurses with a wide range of medical skills, managing urgent care problems and chronic care problems. Some examples of medical problems receiving treatment are: eye problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, rashes, injuries, joint problems and sprains, urinary problems and women's health issues, infections, minor procedures and other medical problems as able.
 
What days and hours are you open? Currently, excluding Holidays, we're open Monday evenings (6p-8pm), Thursday evenings (6p-8p), and first/third Saturday mornings (9a-11a).  Check the website for specific days not open.  Clinic hours may change based on volunteer availability and nasty weather.

Do I need an appointment?  No, since the Free Clinic is for walk in patients, no appointments are taken.

What qualifies me to visit the Free Clinic?  1) income at or below the 200% Federal Poverty Level (FPL), which is $44,000 annual income for a family of four;  2) No health insurance coverage (you should use your insurance elsewhere, saving precious Free Clinic resources for those patients without insurance);
3) Unable to afford healthcare from any other source, and you need our medical help.
